“Been coming here for years — the hip hop classes are so much fun and the instructors make everyone feel welcome.”
Learn to dance with two left feet
Flava' Dance Academy is a Kissimmee studio that has been operating for 22 years, teaching hip hop within a wide mix that also includes salsa, bachata, contemporary, jazz, ballet and gymnastics. Classes run for both kids and adults from age 3 and up, so a family can pursue several styles under one roof, and the academy explicitly markets itself to people who want to pick up hip hop and other urban styles from scratch.
Rather than a trophy-chasing competition team, Flava' runs non-competitive performance teams for ages 5 to 14 that perform across the Kissimmee, Orlando and Tampa areas, giving students real stage time without the pressure of the circuit. The academy's stated philosophy is to "teach you how to dance even if you have two left feet" while helping dancers grow into "self-confident humans," which fits its beginner-friendly, all-ages reputation. With a perfect 5.0 rating across 66 reviews, it reads as one of the more established, welcoming street-and-social options south of Orlando.
