“The teachers are warm and encouraging, and my daughter has grown so much in her hip hop class here.”
We teach dance to make great kids
Dance 360 Orlando runs its hip hop program as part of a broad Baldwin Park curriculum that also spans ballet, jazz, tap, acro, lyrical/contemporary and musical theater. Younger dancers start in Jr. Hip Hop (ages 5 to 7.5) before moving into the age-7-and-up classes, and specialty tracks like Flip Hop and the Sparkle Squad give kids extra ways to build on street-style fundamentals. The studio also runs a competitive Dance Company for students ready to perform.
The studio is affiliated with the "More Than Just Great Dancing" (MTJGD) network and leads with a plainly stated philosophy: "We teach dance to make great kids." Staff are CPR-certified and background-checked, and the studio was named Best Dance Studio in the 2023 Playground Magazine Family Favorites. Group classes, recital participation, Parent Night Out and birthday parties round out a program clearly built for families with young dancers rather than the adult social crowd.
