“Great vibe and talented instructors. The hip hop team choreography is always fresh and my kid loves it.”
Sharp street styles and team routines
Edgez Dance is a southeast-Orlando studio on East Michigan Street whose category profile is built squarely around hip hop and dance teams, with contemporary rounding out the offering. That focus makes it one of the more street-forward independent studios in the Conway area, geared toward students who want to learn hip hop choreography and perform it as part of a group rather than pursue a broad, ballet-first academy curriculum.
With a 4.8 rating across 46 reviews, Edgez has built a solid local reputation. Because its public site emphasizes teams and street styles, it tends to attract dancers looking for the energy of a crew and regular performance opportunities. Prospective students should contact the studio directly to confirm current class levels, age ranges and audition or placement details for its teams, since those specifics rotate season to season. For anyone in southeast Orlando who wants hip hop as the main event instead of a side class, Edgez is a natural first stop.
