“Joined for classes and ended up on a performance team — the training and community are amazing.”
Touring salsa teams, no partner needed
Studio Synergy, known as Salsa Synergy, is an Orlando salsa studio near downtown that pairs a full teaching program with a genuine performance-team pipeline. Group classes run from Beginners through Advanced, plus Intermediate Mambo and a Stretch & Ballet class, and instructors rotate partners throughout class so students never need to bring one. Beyond classes it hosts a busy community calendar — monthly Synergy Social Club nights, quarterly socials and weekly Salsa Nights with free lessons.
The competitive-performance backbone is a professional dance company that also fields student teams. According to the studio, its teams have performed across the country — Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C., Chicago and Houston — and for major organizations including the Orlando Magic, Walt Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando. Amateur and professional team members get regular performance opportunities at events and salsa congresses throughout the year, making Synergy the metro's clearest path from beginner salsa class to touring performance team.
