“The group classes are so much fun and very affordable. Everyone is friendly and the graduations at the end of each series are a great touch.”
Group classes with a community heart
Nannette's Inc. Ballroom Dance runs its flagship location on L B McLeod Road in southwest Orlando, part of a small Central Florida network. The teaching covers a full spread of styles — from waltz and foxtrot through swing, cha-cha, and rumba, all the way to salsa and tango — with a distinctly community-oriented, affordable format. Group classes run in roughly eight-week series with class graduations, and the studio also offers private lessons, in-home instruction, workshops, and the occasional master class.
The student base spans teens, adults, beginners, and more advanced and competitive dancers, and the studio's philosophy leans on teaching "with pride," "with love," and plenty of fun. Downloadable video resources, dance-shoe sales, gift certificates, and regular public social dances round out the offering. For budget-minded students in the Millenia and southwest Orlando area who prefer the camaraderie of a recurring group class over one-on-one packages, Nannette's is an accessible, welcoming pick.
