“Best hip-hop training in Orlando — the crew and choreographers are the real deal.”
Orlando's hip-hop and street styles hub
Motiv Dance bills itself as Orlando's premier hip-hop and street styles studio, occupying a 4,000-plus square-foot space in Longwood overlooking a lake near Big Tree Park. It specializes exclusively in hip-hop and street styles and runs a flexible drop-in model — classes Monday through Friday, 6 to 10 PM, with no contracts or memberships — that serves beginner through intermediate dancers as well as aspiring commercial professionals. Most attendees are teens and adults, and music is uncensored.
Its competitive and performance identity centers on Motiv Crew, which the studio notes was seen on NBC's World of Dance. The studio leans into career development, listing alumni who have gone on to work with major recording artists and hosting accomplished guest choreographers and trainers, including members of Kinjaz. For dancers focused on street styles, crew performance and a path toward commercial and industry work rather than traditional judged competition circuits, Motiv is one of the metro's standout destinations.
