“The On2 classes leveled up my dancing and joining the company was the best decision — we performed at events I never imagined.”
Salsa On1 and On2 with a pro company
Salsa Synergy, operating as Studio Synergy on Woodward Street near downtown Orlando, offers a full salsa progression from beginner through advanced, and notably runs separate tracks for both "salsa On1" and "salsa On2" timing, alongside mambo, bachata and a Stretch & Ballet class. Group lessons use a rotational partner system so no partner is needed, and the studio supplements them with private one-on-one instruction and specialty workshops throughout the year. Transparent pricing runs from a $20 single class up to a $160 unlimited monthly pass.
What sets Synergy apart is its performance arm: the Salsa Synergy Dance Company fields both professional and student teams that have performed nationally — Los Angeles, Miami, DC, Chicago and Houston — and for high-profile local clients including the Orlando Magic, Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. On the social side, the "Synergy Social Club" runs on the third Saturday of each month, with a free weekly Tuesday class and salsa night at The Robinson Café. That mix of serious technique, real performance opportunities and an active social calendar makes it a standout for committed salsa dancers.
