“A fantastic school with a real theater attached. The kids get genuine stage experience and the instructors are wonderful.”
Training dancers on and off the stage
ME Dance School, founded by Marshall Ellis, is a west Orlando dance school that trains students in the performance disciplines and gives them somewhere real to perform. It is connected to the Marshall Ellis Performing Arts Center and ME Theatre, a 130-seat venue with a professional stage, sprung flooring, full lighting and sound, dressing rooms, and aerial rigging, plus four separate rehearsal studios. That combination of school and theater is unusual at this scale and lets students rehearse and stage work in a single, purpose-built home.
With a near-perfect rating and a solid review base, ME Dance School has built a strong local reputation among Orlando families. The adjoining theater hosts cabarets, musicals, and concerts, so dancers see musical-theater and stage production up close as part of the studio's wider performing-arts ecosystem. For families in the Metrowest and southwest Orlando area who want training that leads to actual performances rather than a single annual recital, ME Dance School is a credible, performance-oriented option.
