“I walked in never having danced and within a month I was comfortable at the socials. The sensual bachata classes are addictive.”
From zero to confident social dancer
Bachata Sensual Orlando (BSO Latin Dance) in Fern Park builds its identity around sensual bachata, layered on top of a solid salsa and bachata foundation and taught across multiple levels. The studio's signature is a progressive, structured monthly curriculum designed to take someone from "zero to confident social dancer," backed up by flexible drop-in classes Wednesday through Sunday and one-on-one private lessons by appointment. A "$10 Week of Dance" promotion across four nights gives newcomers an inexpensive on-ramp to try the format.
The social side is central to how BSO operates: classes rotate partners so no one needs to bring their own, and the studio hosts weekend community socials and dance nights where students put class material to use. For dancers who want to progress further, BSO fields training teams — including a Sensual Bachata team and a BSO Academy team — that add a performance path. With operations in both Orlando and Tampa and a mission centered on connection and expression through dance, it's a strong pick for anyone specifically drawn to modern, sensual bachata.
